SMG utilizes CDR and CD-ROM technology to support a variety of software production needs. Typically, the CDR process is used to support shorter run requirements (less than 1000) while CD-ROM is used for longer runs. Our staff of experts can help you determine the best production and packaging strategy to meet your individual needs.

CDR Production(Short-run, quick turnaround):
If you have a requirement to produce 100, 200, 500, or 1000 CD's, SMG has an extensive in-house capability at our Alpharetta, GA facility. With a capacity of over 3000 CDR's per day and a variety of label printing capabilities on-site, we can turn your order around quickly, often with same day or next day turnaround.

The advantages to running CDR include:

* Minimizing inventory carrying costs utilizing a zero inventory model

* Quick-turn of your order (2 days or less vs. 2 weeks for CD-ROM)

If you have a product that changes often or has run quantities of less than 1000 units, we have cost-efficient, in-house solutions for your CD production needs.

CD-ROM Production (Long-run production):
SMG has outsource partnerships with several of the national CD-ROM companies. Our relationships and our buying power allow us to give our customers not only good prices but also the leverage to get projects turned around on a timely basis. We help you with CD master creation, creation of artwork and, through our outsource management team, ensure that your project is brought on time and on budget. As with our CDR production, you have a variety of packaging options from which to choose.
