SMG continues to support the disk duplication needs of software companies and corporations. Although many of our clients have migrated to CD, there is still strong demand for high-quality disk production and packaging.

Disk Duplication:
We have an extensive in-house capability for 3.5" high and low density diskettes. With a fully automated, in-house capacity of over 200,000 disks per week, we support run sizes from 50 to 50,000 per master. SMG utilizes only the latest in duplication equipment and, like our CD production, do 100% comparison for each disk produced.

Label Printing:
SMG utilizes the Zebra™ thermal transfer printer to provide better than laser quality images on your disk labels. We have a variety of label options from generic 1-color text to 4-color.

Master Management :
A word about master management: With both CD's and diskettes, we have extensive incoming testing procedures and an active ongoing master management program. We manage literally thousands of masters every year. Each incoming master is assigned a unique part number, virus scanned, write protected (disks), and, if necessary, sample copies provided back to you prior to production. All masters and backup copies are locked in a fireproof, waterproof vault for protection, logged and reported back to our customers on a quarterly basis.
